College of The Albemarle (COA) – Currituck, in the Currituck Community Park in Barco, is the newest of the college’s four locations. It was opened in 2013 with a state-of-the-art facility housing our Aviation Technology, Computer Integrated Machining and Computer-Aided Drafting programs as well as a host of general education classes.
Through our partnership with Currituck County, COA is able to expand program offerings. Classrooms and labs within the County’s Public Safety Center provide educational space for
